A long-sleeved shirt made of indigo plaid fabric, woven with rope-dyed 40-count yarn—a relatively high count for work shirts. Based on an American vintage work shirt with classic two-flap pockets and side gussets, it features cat's-eye metal buttons with slightly peeling navy paint. By reviewing and examining the documents of the time, Sugar Cane has revived a full range of functional details that are typical of vintage work wear. It then combined the individual authentic details and uniquely applied them to its own items under the name of "Fiction Romance."
